Wacky Wednesday for Tomorrow (8-15)
Tomorrow is Time Travel Day at camp! Feel free to send your camper in clothes representing either the past or the future. We encourage creativity with these Wacky Wednesday costumes so feel free to go all out! We can’t wait to see what everyone wears tomorrow morning! Dressing up does earn your camper a Wacky Wednesday bead!
From Flag Pole to Wacky Wednesday
Camp traditions are very important to us at Outer Limits and Sports Camp. We start each day with Flag Pole. It’s a time for us to celebrate our country. We say the pledge and sing the national anthem. Adding new traditions is something we are actively trying to start around camp each summer. Austin, our assistant director, has started a new tradition we have done all summer and it’s great. We call it the Wacky Wednesday Cat Walk. Campers and counselors who are dressed up get to come in front of assembly and do a walk for all of camp. There are cheers for the crowd as the applause determines who will win. Congratulations to our Week 6 winners Nick and Kaitlyn!
A Hauntingly Good Time at Camp!
Boo! Halloween Wacky Wednesday was a tremendous success! It was awesome seeing so many campers dressed in a wide variety of costumes. Even campers who weren’t dress up were still wearing black and orange! Have a look at some of the costumes from this morning!
Modeling For Our Country
This morning we had an amazing assembly! Our new detective friends searched around the Big Apple for clues about our missing Spirit Stick. They were left with another clue that will lead them to a different part of the country they will explore Thursday morning. Skit Video. After the skit we had our Patriotic Model Runway to show off the best dressed campers in their red, white, and blue. The eventual winners were from Dance Camp! A Wacky Assembly!

6-26 News and Notes
Tomorrow is Wacky Wednesday! Our theme for this week, Let’s Get Messy, is a little tricky to find an outfit for therefore we have simplified what your campers should wear.
- Sports Camp: Jersey Day (any sports jersey is acceptable)
- Camp 1 (Whos, Yertles, Hortons): Red
- Camp 2 (Pikachus, Charizards): Green
- Camp 3: Blue
Thursday is Family Night! The fun starts at 7! The theme for this Family Night is Let’s Get Messy. We will have almost a dozen games and activities that feature water and messy based objectives. Because of the potential for wet and messy clothes we are encouraging parents, campers, and even our staff to wear clothes they won’t mind getting messy in. At the end of the night each camper who attended will get an awesome Family Night bead for his or her’s necklace. Family Night is an amazing way to see what kind of fun our campers get into each day at camp. We can’t wait for Thursday and hope to see you all there! (Let us know on the blog, or at Rides In/Out if your family plans to attend Family Night!)

- Tomorrow is Wacky Wednesday! Our theme this week is ‘Fitness Funathlon’. Feel free to send your camper to camp tomorrow wearing any kind of clothes relating to fitness and they will get a Wacky Wednesday bead for their necklace!
- Thursday is Family Night! 7:00 at Mills Park. We will be posting on the blog and sending out an email about more specifics for Family Night tomorrow. Be sure to check your inbox and the blog tomorrow.
- Friday is Sports Camp scrimmage day. From 2:45-3:30 our sports campers will get the opportunity to show off their skills and parents are invited. Be sure to check in with the office and they will direct you where to go.
A Very Talented Wacky Wednesday!
We had some awesome costumes for Wacky Wednesday this morning at Camp O and some really cool jerseys for Sports Camp’s Jersey day! Each camper who dressed up got a bead to put on their necklace for dressing up!
